Gray has amassed over 14 years experience in digital marketing from a variety of blue-chip companies and UK agencies. He’s been on the board of major global agencies, launched start-up businesses and extended high-tech US businesses into Europe. In fact, there isn’t much he hasn’t done (although it’s been a while since he did his own photocopying!)
In his time, Gray has led big & small teams at places like Mars Incorporated (yes he does like Mars bars!), including development teams in China, and leading agency’s digital divisions at places such as McCann Erickson and RBH.
He’s been responsible for profit centres and budgets at places like Capita Business Services with more zeroes on them than Rory McIlroy’s weekly wage. At McCann, the digital division grew by 40% and delivered a profit for the first time under Gray’s leadership.
He is also Senior Lecturer at Birmingham City University helping to lead the MA and MSc qualifications in New Media and Digital Communications; a programme that he was asked to design in collaboration with the Programme Director at BCU's New Technology Institute
