Sam Davies

The lead trainer and training course developer for Zoober Training, Sam Davies, has been involved in online and digital development in both SMEs and blue chip companies for over fifteen years. His specialist areas include digital marketing for SMEs, team development and competency assessments. Sam developed these skills within companies such as Coca-Cola, Yell, Local Government and, more recently, a digital promotional merchandise company.

Steven Walls

Steven Walls (Steph) is a Creative Director with over 10 years’ experience of running a successful, boutique digital and graphic design agency. He describes himself as a highly motivated individual with a background in ideas, communication and making lovely cups of coffee.

Steph also works as a Visiting Lecturer in Design and Communications at Birmingham City University, specialising in Visual Design and Design for Production for the Media and Communications degree course.

Steph specialises in helping students understand design - encouraging them to articulate creative concepts through images and execute creative brief development.

Alistair Norman

Alistair is the Marketing Director of Zoober’s partner company, the inbound marketing agency Tomorrow People.

Before joining Zoober and Tomorrow People, Alistair gained more than 15 years’ experience in helping businesses to make the most of their potential through lead nurturing and measurable marketing campaigns. He has worked with companies of all sizes, helping them to transform more qualified leads into sales, develop customised nurturing programmes and, ultimately, drive more revenue. Alistair began his career as one of the founding members of a technology start-up, leading the business to a trade sale.

Alistair is also an external auditor of the Future Media course programme offered by Birmingham City University.

Gray Dudek

Gray Dudek

Gray has amassed over 14 years experience in digital marketing from a variety of blue-chip companies and UK agencies. He’s been on the board of major global agencies, launched start-up businesses and extended high-tech US businesses into Europe. In fact, there isn’t much he hasn’t done (although it’s been a while since he did his own photocopying!)

In his time, Gray has led big & small teams at places like Mars Incorporated (yes he does like Mars bars!), including development teams in China, and leading agency’s digital divisions at places such as McCann Erickson and RBH.

He’s been responsible for profit centres and budgets at places like Capita Business Services with more zeroes on them than Rory McIlroy’s weekly wage. At McCann, the digital division grew by 40% and delivered a profit for the first time under Gray’s leadership.

At Planet 9, Gray is the left-brain, with impressive capabilities at the technical, analytical and commercial side of our operations. That doesn’t mean he’ll talk ones and zeroes at you, but it’s unlikely you’ll catch him saying things like “what lovely wrapping paper”.

Dave Reed

Dave Reed

Since 2000, Dave has worked both client and agency side for many of the world’s best known brands, thinking up and executing digital strategies that deliver great results. In fact, the only thing you could use to query his strategic ability is the complete inability to grow a beard – thereby denying him something to stroke while he thinks. Before Planet 9 he worked at McCann Erickson and at creative shop RBH, alongside Gray, helping some of the UK’s most famous brands work their way through the digital world. Prior to this, Dave worked at national accountancy firm Baker Tilly, driving them into the digital age and managing a 6-figure budget as well as an army of internal stakeholders and agencies along the way.

It’s no coincidence that Dave is also Chief Spectacle-Wearer at Planet 9. He’s the right-brain of the business, with a very strong pedigree in digital strategies that deliver sales.
